  • Also a thing to mention is that an online business administration training course is designed for students to be able to without problems proceed to bachelor’s degree programs. The Ninety credit education meets the lower bachelor diploma requirements and once you earn the associate of arts in BA online, you will have access to the most recent technologies with this field. Several reasons why students are able to get their associate degree in business is because they can be interested in the field and want to obtain the general training necessary previous to jumping right into a bachelor diploma program. Educational Stakeholders’ Advocacy meeting on ending School Related Gender Based Violence

School-related gender-based violence (SRGBV) encompasses sexual, physical and psychological violence occurring at school and on the journey to and from school. It is violence that is perpetrated as a result of gender stereotyping, discriminatory practices and unequal gender relations. It includes explicit threats or acts of physical violence, bullying, verbal or sexual harassment, non-consensual touching, sexual coercion and assault, and rape. Corporal punishment and discipline in schools often manifest in highly gendered ways and unprecedented access to information and communications technology has resulted in new forms of intimidation, cyberbullying and sexual harassment. Educational stakeholders, in particular, teachers and other school staff are the most important partners in addressing School-Related Gender-Based Violence (SRGBV). They are most of the times the perpetrators and in some cases acting with liberty that there is nothing anyone can do. Poorly enforced legislation, inadequate child protection policies and weak or non-existent reporting mechanisms all increase childrens vulnerability to SRGBV, said Martin-Mary, CEO Kids & Teens Resource Centre. Until school-related gender-based violence is eliminated in and around schools across the world, many of the ambitious targets set by the global community through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to provide safe and supportive learning environments, to end violence

End Child Labour

Teachers, Students, Community Child Labour Monitoring Committees (CCLMCs) and the Community Engagement Officers (CEOs) working on the Accelerating Action for the Elimination of Child Labour in the Cocoa Supply Chain – ACCEL Africa Project in Fagbo I & II communities in Ondo State had a market outreach yesterday to educate buyers and sellers from neighbouring communities on the dangers of child labour. One of the ACCEL Africa beneficiaries encouraged parents to send their children to school because Child labour only increases poverty. The ACCEL Africa Project has built the capacity of beneficiaries in communities where child labour was prevalent to become champions of the change they want. As we did commemorate the World Day Against Child Labour tomorrow, let’s not forget to take a stand against child labour and protect children around us so they can achieve their full potential and make our country great. #EndChildLabour #endchildlabournow
