Do you know that Condoms have been with men since 1701? So Don’t Compromise!!! but Do Condomise!!!
Condom Education is an avenue to provide adequate information about condoms and not to promote usage. The ABC (A- Abstinence, B – Be faithful and C – Condomise) of #HIV prevention provides options to help us act wisely and the fact still remains that the more we talk about #Condoms the more we talk about Sexual Health and fight #Stigma.
Condom is a sheath that fits over the penis/vagina. It provides a mechanical barrier protection against viruses, bacteria etc.
Male and female condoms are currently the most efficient and available technology to prevent HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among sexually active people. While the search for HIV vaccines and microbicides continues to make progress, condoms will remain the key preventive tool for years to come.
Condoms are a key component of combination prevention strategies individuals can choose at different times in their lives to reduce their risks of sexual exposure to HIV. These include delay of sexual initiation, abstinence, being safer by being faithful to one’s partner when both partners are uninfected and consistently faithful, reducing the number of sexual partners, correct and consistent use of condoms, and male circumcision.
CONDOM MAKES SEX SAFER
It protects both partners during sexual intercourse.
It’s the only contraceptive that gives dual protection i.e. prevents pregnancy and protects against Sexually Transmitted Infections (including HIV)
