Good governance ensures that the three context of government which are the Economic, Political and Administrative are given priorities based on broad consensus in the society and makes sure that the voice of the poorest and the most vulnerable are heard in decision-making over the allocation of development resources.

Good governance is reflected in the capacity of Government to cater for the people it governs and see to the improvement of its environment. Good governance should be participatory, equitable and inclusive of both young, old, rich, poor, abled and disabled in its process to follow the rule of law.

Good governance ensures accountability to the people so as to ensure transparency and smooth flow of leadership without interruption and issue of trust.

A good government ensures effectiveness and efficiency. It must safeguard the reason it exist, knowing its People, Purpose, Process and Performance.

• Kids & Teens Resource Centre promotes good governance in Nigeria through participatory methodologies such as Economic Literacy, Budget, Accountability and Governance (ELBAG), NERV, PVA tools on voter’s education and their roles as a citizen in ensuring good leadership for the nation.
• Organizes 18th Birthday Bash for young people who just clocked 18 years in the country to enlighten them on the importance of getting a voter’s card and active participation in elections.
• Advocates for women participation in governance and decision-making process
• Conducts awareness campaigns, street rallies, interpersonal communication, peer influencers among young people and citizens in shunning electoral violence
• Collaborates with other NGOs in assisting the effort of the government by providing information, social amenities that are expected in a given community
• Produces and distributes SBCC/IEC materials printed in local languages and in English to sensitize people on the need to participate in election processes and how to be patriotic citizens.
