PDP CHAIRMAN, HON FATAI ADAMS WARMLY RECEIVED THE STATE TEAM OF THE SUPPORTING ADVANCEMENT OF GENDER EQUALITY (SAGE) PROJECT


The Ondo State People’s Democratic Party- PDP Chairman, Hon Fatai Adams warmly received the State team of the Supporting Advancement of Gender Equality (SAGE) Project in his office today.

While speaking at the advocacy meeting which had in attendance Bashorun Tola Alabere – State Deputy Chairman, Alhaji Ogbera Ganiyu – Assistant Treasure and Mr Niyi Akinola – Media Aide, Hon Fatai pledged his commitment to support the participation and representation of more women in politics. He spoke of how the number of women in the structure of his party has increased from three to ten after he took over leadership.

He said the SAGE project is a laudable one and he urged other stakeholders to support women’s inclusion.

  Kids & Teens Resource Centre recently participated in the HIV Awareness Walk to commemorate World AIDS Day 2024, organized by ODSACA (Ondo State Agency for the Control of AIDS). The event took place in Akure and was led by Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa. This year’s theme highlighted prevention, stigma reduction, and support for individuals living with HIV. The World AIDS Day event brought attention to the need for education, community action, and awareness to combat the HIV epidemic. The Walk to Commemorate World AIDS Day The HIV Awareness Walk began at the Government House, Alagbaka, and concluded at the MKO Abiola Democracy Park in Akure. World Diabetes Day Outreach: Fighting Diabetes Together

World Diabetes Day serves as a global reminder of the growing impact of diabetes on millions of people worldwide. In Nigeria, diabetes continues to be a rising health concern, with many unaware of the importance of early detection, prevention, and management.
