Stakeholders call for sustained interventions to meet the unmet needs of young people
Traditional and Religious leaders in Taraba had commit to support the planned Family Life and HIV Education project for In-School and Out-of-School young people in the state following reports of high cases of unwanted and unplanned pregnancies, drug and substance abuse, monstrous spread of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections among others.
At the One-Day stakeholders meeting held in Taraba Motel, Jalingo, the CEO of Kids & Teens Resource Centre, Martin-Mary Falana commended the community stakeholders for their understanding and commitment to join hands in ending all forms of violence against young people especially in the areas of Gender Based Violence, Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting and Substance abuse.
