70-80% of Nigeria’s 230 million people are youth, yet 80% face unemployment leading to poverty and social challenges. Inadequate infrastructure, limited economic opportunities, and skills gaps perpetuate cycles of dependence. K&TRC‘s community development programs target root causes: ICT and vocational training (C-PETS groups, Knowing Series, CHASE Clubs), women’s economic empowerment for family sustainability, volunteer mobilization (18,653 strong), infrastructure development (markets, skill acquisition centers), and comprehensive support for vulnerable populations.
Our philosophy: Communities have solutions. Our role is providing resources, training, and structures for community-led transformation.
