At K&TRC, we usually celebrate Men, Women and young people that are contributing to the development of their communities. We had the honour of celebrating a philanthropist, a passionate lover of kids, professional coach, cheerful giver and business owner, Olutade Gboyega.
He is a proud Nigerian who hails from Ekiti State but has been to so many countries and worked in four countries.
He holds a B.A (Hons) English and a United States Soccer Federation Coaching License (USSF C).
After a brief introduction of the staff and volunteers of Kids & Teens Resource Centre coupled with the Organization’s vision, mission, thematic areas, core values, past projects, program strategies and challenges, a call for action was done by K&TRC’s Director of Programs, Folasade Bamigboye. The M&E officer, Onesimus Aiwanfo also introduced our guest to the 3Gs of the organization; Give, Get and Generate which also brought about the 10naira/100naira per day card used in sourcing fund for vulnerable children.
The feedback from our amiable guest was tremendous. He made various commitment statement. He promised to collaborate with K&TRC in making the world a better place for all. He also talked about linkages, sharing of ideas, etc with the organization in his own capacity since we are all passionately heading towards the same cause of developing our country, eradicating poverty and securing the future for young people among many other impactful projects done by K&TRC.
K&TRC’s Executive Director, Martin-Mary Falana applauded the guests for his commitment and service to humanity while the program officer, Oluwakemi Falana gave the vote of thanks.
