Kids & Teens Resource Centre proudly presents “1st Annual Children Cultural Fiesta”. This Fiesta is going to be an exciting four-hour packed cultural explosion of Nigerian culture. Having 1000+ children with over 200 adults for cultural displays and competitions. It is one of a kind gathering, scheduled for May 24th, 2018 as part of activities to mark this year’s National Children’s Day. The event will feature an array of cultural displays, concerts, comedy, cultural and fashion shows. The event will be a platform to showcase Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage, while promoting and strengthening the unity and honor of Nigerians and Nigerian descendants.

The main objectives of the Fiesta are:

  1. Promote UNITY among children who live in Ondo State
  2. Promote opportunities for everyone to experience culture, participate in educational programmes and develop their creative abilities;
  3. Promote quality and artistic renewal
  4. Promote a dynamic cultural heritage that is preserved, used and developed;
  5. Provide the linkages between Culture and the SDGs and make participants pay attention to the rights of children and young people to culture.
